Nightingale Happy Hour
By Jack Sussman - Jun 6, 2017
The perfect combination of ambience, delicious food, creative cocktails, and an in house DJ makes late night happy hour at Nightingale one of my favorite places.
A deceptively eloquent interior, combined with a welcoming neighborhood vibe are just a few reasons why I think this establishment has been killing it. Of course décor is not the main reason successful bars and restaurants survive, it’s the food and drinks, which are the main feature of their incredible happy hours.
I’ve eaten pretty much everything on the menu, from snacks to sweets its all good. Most dishes can be served gluten free.

OYSTERS
I am an oyster loving Midwestern guy. Every time I “slurp” down an oyster from Nightingale’s daily selection, I am instantly reminded of memories vacationing on Cape Cod, enjoying the equally fresh taste of New England oysters.
CHICKEN WINGS
In addition to being a seafood lover, bring on the poultry! Nightingales chicken wings, prepared with Ginger, Tamari, and Serrano Peppers, always gets me excited to order them there, and some to go. The wings are FRIED TO PERFECTION with each bite exploding with flavor.
BRUSCHETTA
I also like to highlight their bruschetta. So far, I have had three varieties (Fresh Ricotta, Roasted Mushroom, and Avocado Toast), and no, I do not have a favorite. They all tie for first place.
HAPPY HOUR DRINKS
They offer discounted drinks featuring a different 5$ specialty cocktail each night (which means you get to try something off their craft cocktail list each night for $5).
Nightingale’s late night happy hour is from 11-1am so it makes an ideal late night spot for small plate dining and a night cap. I’ve been there for brunch, dinner, and late night. Each time, the experience has been wonderful. Lucky for me, I live in the neighborhood! See you there!
